Frequently Asked Questions

Who will be leading the class?

A trained FitBrainiacs coach will be there to lead each session. We will need 1-3 parent volunteers to assist at each session in exchange for free enrollment for your child. Please contact us if you would like to find out more about volunteer opportunities.

Do you offer any discounts?

Instead of offering discounts that only some families may qualify to receive, we’ve decided to offer the lowest possible prices to everyone.

What is your refund policy?

If you are not completely satisfied after your child attends their first class session, please let us know and you will receive a full refund for any unused sessions*. No refunds will be issued after a child has attended a second time.
*Processing Fees may apply.

What happens if the weather is poor?

Living in the desert, weather is typically pleasant throughout the year. Some days may be too hot, cold, windy, or wet to meet outside. We will do our best to avoid any cancellations and move class indoors in these conditions. If we don’t contact you to cancel, you can assume class is still on.

How can I help my child prepare for class?

  • Please make sure your child wears or brings athletic shoes to school on the day of class.
  • FitBrainiacs water bottles and sport towels will be distributed on the first day of class* and should be brought to every class session.
  • Remind your child to use the bathroom prior to arriving at class. There will be time at the start of class to fill water bottles and apply sunscreen, but your child may also wish to do these things prior to arriving.

What happens if my Child is hurt during class?

The safety of your children is extremely important to us. We will have multiple adult leaders present at each session to ensure rules are being followed and everyone is playing safely. Please discuss with your child the importance of being safe, respectful, and responsive to their coaches’ instructions.

In the event that an injury requires emergency attention, we will:

  1. Administer immediate first aid/CPR.
  2. Contact 911.
  3. Notify parent/guardian or emergency contact.
  4. Arrange transport to nearest/preferred hospital (if necessary).
  5. File accident/medical incident report.
